  • Then have no fear, this day of technology is for you! Appalachian Bible College is pleased to invite you to the first educational technology day of workshops on our campus, Saturday, September 20, 2008.
What you can expect at the T3:
  • Workshops presented by real classroom teachers just like you
  • Ideas primarily geared toward the elementary classroom
  • A relaxed environment of educators sharing ideas

  • There is no cost for the workshops...It's FREE!

Workshop Presenters

Cindy Blakely: Cindy has been an elementary school teacher in the Chicago area for 26 years. She currently teaches Kindergarten where she daily introduces her students to new ways of using technology. She holds a Master's degree in Educational Technology and shares her interest of technology in a variety of ways. Her favorite gadgets are her new Mac Laptop and iPod Touch. She is the mom to 2 grown children, has a very loyal Black Lab, and in her spare time enjoys scrapbooking and stamping with friends.

Tina Chapman: Tina is joining us from Fayette County, WV. She has been a teacher for 18 years. She has a Master's Degree from Marshall in Educational Computing. She is a middle school teacher, and has also served as the Technology Integration Specialist for Fayette County. When asked about what every teacher should know about technology, she says, "Don't be afraid to learn - you can't break it!" She is the wife of Gary and mother to Sydney. In her spare time, you can find her scrapbooking, doing aerobics, or busy on e-bay.

Sandra Wiseman: Sandra is an elementary school librarian from Ohio County, WV. She has served as a teacher for 26 years. She holds degrees from WVU and the University of South Carolina. She is involved in a variety of experiences that allow her to share her knowledge of technology with others. Her favorite technology tool is her laptop. She is the wife to Robert and mom to Robyn. When she is not busy on the computer, you will find her reading or doing needlepoint.
