Appalachian Bible College Facilities

Appalachian Bible College occupies a nearly 150-acre campus in beautiful Southern West Virginia, surrounded by some of the region's most breathtaking natural beauty, and less than an hour from the state capital.

God has blessed us in recent years, allowing the construction of new facilities to support the growth of our community. Here's a quick overview of the Appalachian Bible College campus:


Experience the laughter of friendship and the joy of your campus family while living at ABC. We offer a variety of living arrangements for our students:

  • Woman's residence hall; DesPlaines Hall
  • Men's residence hall: McCarrell Hall
  • Multi-purpose facility: Hoops Hall
  • Appalachian Village, a townhouse complex, provides twenty-four homes for married students, with the convenience of campus life plus the Lewis Canary Playground for great family memories

The John Van Puffelen Library

Named after one of ABC's founding fathers, Rev. John Van Puffelen, the library is located in Pipkin Hall.

  • The library utilizes high-level information technology so students enjoy an efficient way to conduct their research
  • Includes more than 52,000 volumes cover the entire field of biblical, professional, and general education studies offered in ABC's curricula
  • Houses the college's twenty-four station computer lab

The Servant Center

One of the newer buildings on campus, this three-story student center conveniently puts essential services in one building.

Anderson Hall

Located near the highest point on campus, this chapel/music building provides a wonderful vista of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Gilmore Gymnasium/Conference Center

During the school year, this building is home court for the ABC Warriors and Lady Warriors. During the summer, it's used by Alpine Ministries.

Alpine Ministries Facilities

Our administrative headquarters for Alpine Ministries, lodging, and camping facilities are located in a beautifully secluded section of our campus.
