Bible College News: New School Year Excitement

Welcoming students on campus for the first time is always a highlight. Yes, a variety of students from R.A.’s to athletes arrive nearly a week before the new students. However, the spark of excitement for the year ahead is typically lit the day new students arrive.

This year was no exception. As life began to stir Saturday, August 25th the ABC Admissions team prepared to welcome over 100 students. Throughout the day they witnessed God bring forth a harvest of teachable servants that reflected their months of diligent labor, sowing the challenge of servanthood.

Scott Ross, Director of Admissions, shared that “the Admissions team held nothing back this year in challenging individuals to serve the Lord. We gave God our best and He saw fit to bless us abundantly; beyond what we could have imagined.” In addition, he expressed his excitement about the godly men God has led to ABC this year and how he anticipates seeing them make a great impact on campus and in the community.

The enthusiasm didn't stop with Mr. Ross; recognition of God’s goodness was evident in Pipkin Hall, the Servant Center, and Pinter Hall where faculty and staff greeted and assisted students with diverse needs. The day was a blessing as it confirmed once again, that God is still stirring the souls of young people toward a life committed to Him… because Life is for Service.
