Chapel Time
Three times a week, the campus body comes together to worship in song and to be challenged and strengthened by the preaching of God's Word. Speakers with local and international experience provide a variety of insights on ministry. This time includes prayer, testimonies and also Scripture memorization, which often relates to a theme that has been chosen for that school year.
Church Ministries
You won't find a campus church at ABC. Because we exist to serve the local church it only seems natural that our students be involved in them. Students are currently serving in over 25 local churches. Their ministries range from serving as nursery coordinators/workers, Awana leaders, and Sunday school teachers to Youth leaders, pulpit supply and much more.
Checkmates
Each student is involved in a small group of 3 to 4 students that meet together for fellowship and accountability. Their time together is spent encouraging and challenging one another in their personal Bible study, prayer, and spiritual growth.
Devotions
Weekly devotions are held in the residence halls. This is a more casual setting than in the chapel but still includes a biblical challenge from the R.A.’s, upperclassmen, and occasionally a guest speaker.
Prayer Partners
Yearly, staff and faculty are partnered with specific students as "Prayer Partners". Throughout the year you'll exchange prayer requests and pray for each other cultivating an awareness that we are in community together as the family of God.
Special Events
Missions Conference in the fall and the Pinter Lecture Series, Anderson Leadership Symposium, and Spangler Seminar in the spring allow students to take a break from their classes and interact with individuals recognized as leaders in the Christian community.
