2014 Bridge Day

Bridge Day quickly becomes a highlight for students during their time at ABC. As the largest extreme sports event in the world, students flock to see individuals BASE jump from the 876' tall and second largest single arch bridge. Though students don't attend to jump, you will find them scattered throughout the crowd seizing the opportunity for ministry. With nearly 100,000 people gathered, surely, God has prepared some of those hearts to be harvested for His glory.

Prayer Emphasis Week

The week prior to the Missions Conference each year is dedicated to an emphasis on prayer. During these days prayer is given additional attention in classes, chapel hours, and individual relationships. This has become a time for the campus family to prepare their hearts for the special emphasis on the harvest fields of the world in the week to follow. Will you join us?

Experience the results of "hands-on" training during ABC's annual Missions Conference. The details of this event are worked out by the student body as they function together in a variety of committees.

Christmas Concert

Appalachian Bible College invites you to brighten your Christmas season by joining us this year as our Music Department shares many of your favorite Christmas songs. Saturday, December 6th at 7pm and Sunday, December 7th at 3pm.

Mt. Olive Prison & Montgomery Bank Ministry

Each year throughout the Christmas season the Music Department of Appalachian Bible College takes advantage of the opportunity to serve two unique locations. Both the Mt. Olive Prison and the Montgomery Bank welcome the ABC Chorale and additional ensembles. Through their hospitality students are exposed to different ministry settings and able to experience service outside the classroom.

Pinter Lecture Series

This series honors the 40-year service of Dr. Joseph K. Pinter on the faculty and administration. The Pinter Lecture Series, under the direction of ABC, is committed to providing quality, fundamental lectures on critical issues facing today's biblical servant.

Daniel L. Anderson Leadership Symposium

The primary task of leadership is the development of others. The Servant Leadership Symposium was established by the board of directors in 2008, in honor of Dr. Daniel L. Anderson’s 25th year as president of Appalachian Bible College to carry out his desire to develop the next generation of Biblical Servant Leaders and propagate his passion to sustain a rich legacy of our fundamental heritage.

Ada M. Spangler Women's Seminar Series

Facilitated through the Ladies Auxiliary, these non-academic seminars enhance the learning of our female students, enrich the lives of women whose husbands attend ABC and extend to all women interested in growing in the things that make godly women.

2014 Spring Preview

Spring College Preview is designed to serve high school students in the decision making process of preparing for college. As a college previewer they will be able to meet our professors in a classroom setting, experience campus life with our students, attend chapel and events such as our Spring Music Festival, coffee house, and other great activities. Expository Preaching Week

Appalachian Bible College champions expository preaching. During the year it is practiced and exemplified for our students through conferences, seminars, and chapels. This week is unique because the privilege of opening the Word of God in chapel is provided to three of our upperclassmen currently enrolled in the Homiletics Practicum classes. These men are selected by our Pastoral faculty, the emphasis being upon the priority of handling God's Word in a thorough manner, verse-by-verse.

April 17 – 18, 2014

2014 Youth IMPACT

IMPACT is an event for junior high and senior high teens that will challenge them spiritually, through events that let them interact with other teens, our counselors and select staff members serving at Appalachian Bible College. Learn More

Work Day & All School Picnic

Unquestionably, this is one of the most anticipated days of the academic calendar, not because it includes final exams but because it means getting down and dirty. Faculty, staff, and students all work on campus projects together. From the president to the newest student, everyone is involved in some task to beautify ABC. We conclude the day with fun and fellowship at the All School Picnic.

April 30 - May 1

Spring Bible Conference

From its founding, one of ABC's annual traditions is to finish the academic year with a special focus upon the Word of God. With classes and final exams completed, students, staff, and guests are challenged through the Spring Bible Conference. Prior to summer ministries and responsibilities, hearts are reminded that knowing God and serving Him is central to life. Join us during these days for a concentrated time around God's Word.

Senior Program

Time: 2:30 P.M.
Location: Anderson Hall Chapel

Family and friends are invited to join the ABC campus family for a special afternoon event - the Senior Class Program. Graduating seniors share testimonies and music as well as present a class gift to ABC as a gesture of appreciation for their years here. Come celebrate what God has done in the lives of these prepared servants.

A occasion of great joy and celebration, commencement honors those students who have completed their time at ABC. Join us for this special morning as we recognize and rejoice with these who have diligently trained for ministry. Please contact the Alpine Lodge if you are interested in lodging (800-806-2180).
