IMPACT is an annual event sponsored by the Youth and Family Ministry Department of Appalachian Bible College for the purpose of reaching and challenging junior high and senior high students as well as promoting Appalachian Bible College as a place of training for ministry.
Guest Speaker: Dr. Jerry Sivnksty

Dr. Jerry Sivnksty is of Lithuanian heritage and grew up in West Virginia. He is a graduate of Bob Jones University. Upon his graduation from college, he founded the Fellowship Baptist Church in Anderson. After serving as pastor there for five years, Dr. Sivnksty answered the call to full-time evangelism and serves in that role to this day. God is greatly using this Evangelist all over America.
Passionate for young people to know God's Word Dr. Sivnksty developed The Two-Edged-Sword Bible memory plan, a program which has been implemented in church youth groups and Christian schools across the country. He and his wife Sharon have four children: Todd, Brent, Scott and Jennifer. Each of their sons has served as a youth pastor and now serves in full-time evangelism. Their daughter Jennifer serves in the youth ministry with her husband, Mike Thomas, the youth pastor of Community Baptist Church in South Bend, Indiana. Dr. and Mrs. Sivnksty have made their home in Starr, South Carolina for over 30 years where they are members of Grace Baptist Church.
