Soccer
Your 2011 Warriors
Coach, John Sharp
Coach John Sharp is excited about the future of the ABC Warriors Soccer
program. Sharp brings with him a great deal of experience and recognition throughout
his participation in soccer. He was named a member of the NSCAA All –State team as
a central midfielder in 1997 but also received many other athletic achievements through
his college career at Word of Life Bible Institute and Appalachian Bible College. Coach
Sharp’s participation in some intense competition in Europe and Central America has
also contributed greatly to his ability to lead the ABC intercollegiate Soccer program
effectively.
His most recent recognition however is being named the NCCAA Mid-East
Region Soccer Chair in 2006 and Coach of the Year for the 2008 season. Coach Sharp
is not only interested in each athlete’s performance on the field but more importantly
in the development of Christ-like character through intense athletic competition and
through close relationships with teammates.
If you are interested in soccer, have a
desire to create and maintain godly friendships, and want to experience life-lessons that
will carry into future ministry through intercollegiate sports contact Coach Sharp at
